Hall <br />ADDENDUM 1: TIMELINE EXTENSION <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) NO. 23-099A <br />DIGITAL MARQUEE INSTALLATION SERVICES <br />August 3, 2023 <br />Notice is hereby given to Proposers that, where applicable, the City of Santa Ana Purchasing <br />Division has made certain clarifications, modifications, additions, and/or deletions, for <br />specifications of RFP No. 23-099A Digital Marquee Installation Services. ALL OTHER TERMS, <br />CONDITIONS, AND SPECIFICATIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. <br />A.The deadline to submit questions and requests for clarifications is changed to Tuesday, <br />August 15th, 2023 at 4:00 PM (PDT). <br />B.The deadline to submit proposals is changed to Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at 4:00 PM <br />(PDT). <br />C.RFP Document is revised to add the following Bond Requirements: <br />A Performance Bond shall be required of the successful bidder when stated in the <br />Specification. Certified or Cashier’s check or Money Order may be submitted in lieu of <br />Bond. Failure to submit acceptable Payment and Performance Bonds as required shall <br />result in a rejection of the bid and a forfeiture of the proposal guarantee. <br />The following Bond is required: <br />1.FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND (Awarded Contractor Only): A Faithful <br />Performance Bond is required for this RFP. The value of the performance bond <br />shall be 100% of the contract price. Upon award, a Proposer must provide the <br />City with a copy of the executed bond guaranteeing bidder’s faithful performance <br />of all provisions of the contract. <br />D.Section VI. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS is replaced with the following: <br />1.Proposer must have minimum 5 years’ experience in producing/procuring and <br />installing high-quality digital signs in outdoor locations. <br />2.Proposers must possess a valid Class A General Engineering or C-45 Sign <br />Contractor’s License at the time proposals are opened and to maintain this and all <br />Page 1 of 48
