ORDINANCE NO. 1345 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "SANTA AMA MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMENDING ARTICLE IX T~EOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING S~T NUMBER 18 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW T~E RECLASSIFICATION W~W~EAS, the Planning CommiSSiOn Of the City of Santa Ann has given notice of public hearings as required by law in oenneetion with an application for change of District classification to cover the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. $35 recommended such change to the City Council for adoption; and ~EAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public hearing and such public hearing has been duly and regularly held and the Council does now find that public necessity, conven- ience, and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classification of the real property herein- after described and that the uses under the proposed new classifi- cation will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, TH~qEFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SEOTION 1: That the real property lying in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, State of California described as: A portion of See. 1, T. 5 S., R. 10 W., S.B.B.& M., and a por- tion of Lot 1, of the Bates Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, page 96, Miscellaneous Record Maps, Records of Orange County, California described as follows: Beginning at a point in the north line of Seventeenth Street, 200 feet west of the southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Bates Trast; thence N. 0° $5' 10" E. 150 feet to the southwest corner of Tract No. 1306 as shown on a map recorded in Book 39, pages 29 and 30, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Oal- lfornla; thence east in a direct line 675.~4' to the southeast corner of said Trast No. 1306; thence S. 0 $$' $5" W. 150.015' to the north line of Seventeent~ Street; thence west along the north line of Seventeenth Street, 674.36' to the point of be- ginning. Excepting therefrom that portion now occupied by Towner Street, be reclassified from R-2 (limited-multiple Residence District) to R-3 (Multiple Family Residence District) and that Sheet Number 18 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the "Santa Ann Municipal Code" be amended to show such reclassification of said property.
