ORDINANCE NO. NS-27 AMENDING THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNIOIPAL CODE BY REPEALING PART 3, PART 6, AND <br />PART ? OF CHAPTER 3 AND CHAPTER 5 OF ARTICLE II <br />THEREOF, BY A~BIGNING TO SAID CHAPTER 5 A NEW TITLE <br />OF #BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS' AND BY ADOPTING PART 1 <br />OF SAID CHAPTER 5 CREATING A PLANNING COMMISSION <br />AND ESTABLISHING FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES T~EREOF. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN A~ <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION1. That the Santa An, Municipal Code be and it is <br /> <br />hereby amended by repealing Part 3, Part 6, ~nd Part 7 of Chapter 3 <br />and Chapter 5 of Article II thereof. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That the Santa An, Municipal 0ode be and it is <br />hereby amended by providing a new title of 'Boards and COmmiSsions# <br />for Chapter 5 of Article II thereof and by adopting and adding <br /> <br />Part i of said Chapter 5 to said Code in words and figures as follows: <br /> <br /> 'CHAPTER 5. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> "PART 1. PLANNING COMMISSION. <br /> <br /> 'Section 2510. Establishment. <br /> <br /> 'There is hereby created and established a Planning 0om- <br /> mission for the City of Santa An, pursuant to ~ud in accordance <br /> <br /> with the provisions of Article IX of the Santa An, City Charter. <br /> #Section 2511. Meetings. <br /> <br /> 'The Planning 0ommission shall hold at least ~wo regular <br /> meetings each month in the City Hall of the City of Santa An,, at <br /> dates and times specifically set out and established in the rules <br /> of the Commission. <br /> <br /> 'Section 2512. 0ommittees. <br /> <br /> 'The Chairman of the Planning Commission shall appoint as <br /> needed such temporary or standing committees for the study, in- <br /> vestigation and report of particular matters as may be helpful in <br /> <br /> carrying out the responsibilities of the Commission. <br /> 'Section 2513. Review of Budget. <br /> <br /> "The Planning Commission shall review that portion of the <br /> budget pertaining to ~he euppor~ of ~he Planning Commission and <br /> <br /> <br />
