ORDINANCE NO. NS-76 DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEEST <br />AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION AND IMPRo~]~ENT <br />DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NO. NS-63, ORDERING THE ACQUISITION <br />AND IMPROVE~{ENT AS IN SAID ORDINANCE SET OUT, FIXING AArD <br />ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES AND DECLARING THE FORMATION OF <br />VEHICLE PAl{KING DISTRICT NO. I OF ~ CITY OF S~21TA AHA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, on September 20, 1954, the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana adopted Ordinance No. NS-63 describing the land to be in- <br />cluded within Vehicle Parking District No. l, describing the land to be <br />acquired for parking places, containing a general description of the improve- <br />ments proposed to be done and calling a public hearing on November 15, 1954, <br />at 7:30 o'clock P.M. before said City Council for the hearing of protests and <br />objections, and <br /> <br /> WHEP~, heretofore, said City Council adopted Resolution No. 54-156 <br />approving the report of Sidney L. Lowry required by the Special Assessment <br />Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 and ordering a <br />public hearing thereon to be held November 15, 1954, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Council has given due notice of said two <br />hearings as required by law and said hearings have been duly held. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEEEFOEE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~=HE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby finds and declares that one <br />written objection to the formation of said Parking District and two written <br />objections to inclusions within and requests for exclusion from said Parking <br />District were filed, and after hearing thereon all three were denied. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the public interest and necessity require the <br />acquisition and improvement hereinbelow and in Ordins~ce No. NS-63 described. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. That the boundaries of said district are hereby fixed <br />and established as Fourth Street on the South, Spurgeon Street on the East, <br />Seventh Street on the North and Yzin Street on the West, and the land to be <br />included within said Parking District is described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of Section 7, T. 5 S., R. 9 W., S.B.B. & M. in the <br /> City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> All of Blocks 15, 16, 17, 18, 23 and 24, in the "Original Town <br /> of Santa Ama" as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book ~ at Page <br /> 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, <br /> <br /> <br />
