That the land upon which said parking lot is to be located is described as: That portion of Section 7~ Township 5 South~ Range 9 West~ San Bernardino Base and Meridian~ in the City of Santa Aua~ County of Orange~ State of California~ described as: The North 100 feet of Block 17 as shown on a map of "Original Town of Santa Aha" recorded in Book 2~ Page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps of Los Angeles County~ California, ~nd that the City Attorney is hereby directed to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Ana in the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Orange~ for condemnation of said land~ which said land, as in this paragraph described~ is hereby declared to be necessary and the finding is hereby made that public interest and necessity require the acquisition of said land in fee simple and he is directed to do all things necessary to complete said action and obtain such fee simple title in the name of said City. SECTION 4. That the improvements as set out in Ordinance No. NS-6~ are hereby ordered to be made and the Acting Director of Public Works is hereby directed to proceed with the letting of a contract for the same and the super- vision and inspection of said work as soon as title to said land has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana. SECTION 5. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once a week for two successive weeks in the Santa Ana Independent~ the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
