ORDINANCE NO. NS-85 DECIARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT o~IN TEi~RITOR~ DESIGNA'~ "WILD-MT~2~. AN~' WHEP~_~ the City Council of the City Of Santa Ana did on December 20, 1954, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 5~-254~ which said Resolution was regularly published in the Santa Aha Independent and Orange Daily News as required by law~ and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on Feb~,ewy 7~ 1955; and W~EREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW~ T~EREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held in al 1 respects as required by law and as more particularly shown in the files of this proceeding, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was giVen; that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the t~m~ the petition for anmexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa An~, California; that written consent, of ~ 1 the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordlnance~ agreeing that al I propert~ within said territory sba11 be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City con- tracted prior to or existing at the time of -~nexation and that said property sb~11 be so taxed. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange~ State of California~ described as: Ail that certain land situated in the County of Orange, State of California~ described as follows, to-wit: T~ portion of the James McFadden ALlotment in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Delhi Road with the west line of the Orange County Flood Control District right of way, as said road and right of way are show~ on m map filed in book 27, page LB of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; thence North 89° 22' 10" west along the center line of said Delh~ Road a distance of 1628.00 feet; thence South O° 38' 16" West 2315.00 feet; thence South 89° 22' 10" East 1628.00 feet to the west line of said Orange County Flood Control District right of way; thence North 0° 38' 16" East 2B15.OO feet to the point of beginning.
