Vertical Wet Venting. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 614 of said Code is amended by substituting for the en- <br />tire section a new section to read: ,Vertical Wet Venting shall <br />not be permitted.'" <br /> <br />"Section 8226. Combination Waste and Vent System. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 615 (e) of said Code is amended to read: 'Unless spec- <br />ifically required or permitted by the Administrative Authority <br />no vertical waste pipe shall be used in any such system except <br />the tail piece or connection between the outlet of a plumbing <br />fixture and t~e trap therefor. Such tail pieces or connections <br />shall in no case exceed two (2') feet.'" <br /> <br />"Section 8227. Grease Interceptor Plans. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 711 (b) of said Code is amended to read: ,Plans shall <br />be submitted to the Department having Jurisdiction and ~proval <br />obtained prior to the installation of any plumbing system or part <br />thereof designed to include a grease interceptor.'" <br /> <br />"Section 8230. Prohibited Joints and Connections. <br /> <br />"Sec. 806 (b) of said Code is amended to read: 'No fitting or <br />connection that offers abnormal obstruction to flow, sh~l be used.'" <br /> <br />"Section 8231. Size, Rise and Run of Vents and Vent Connectors. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 1318 (d) of said Code is mended to read: 'Metal vent <br />connectors shall be not less in diameter than the vent outlet of <br />the water heater. Vent connectors shall have a rise of no less <br />tha~ one fourth (~") inch per foot of length. The horizontal <br />projected length shall not exceed seventy-five (75%) per cent of <br />the vertical projected length of the vent and vent connector.," <br /> <br />"Section 8232.
