0RD~NANCE N~. ~ AMENDING SECTIONS 5302.1, 5305, 5306, <br />5305, 5308, AND---'~ OF THE SANTA ANA I~UNICIPAL CODE <br />~G~AT~N~ OROHA~O HEA~RS. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 5302.1 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 5302.1. Same. <br /> <br /> Any person desiring a permit to operate any heater may file an <br /> application so to do wi~h .the County Agricultural Commissioner, <br /> the Air Polution Control Officer of Orange County, or such other <br /> person as may be designated to issue the same. Such application <br /> shall give the following information: <br /> <br /> (a) The location and extent of the area proposed to be heated <br /> for protection from frost damage. <br /> <br /> (b) The name and address of the owner thereof. <br /> <br /> (c) The types of heaters and the number of each type for which <br /> a permit is requested. <br /> <br /> (d) The type and kind of fuel proposed to be used in said <br /> heaters. <br /> <br /> (e) A statement that all heaters are in good operabing condi- <br /> tion, that all parts fit properly and tightly, are clean and free <br /> <br /> of carbon, soot and sludge residuee ' ' · ~.~ ~"'' ~ <br /> <br /> (f) Such additional information as may be ~equired by the is- <br /> suing officer. <br /> <br /> (g) Execute or sign any affidavit or statement regularly re- <br /> <br /> quired by the issuing office or officer of the County of Orange." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That Sections 5305, 5306, 5307, 5308 and 5309 are <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 5305. Approved Heater Types. <br /> <br /> After the first day of OctOber, 1957, no combustible material of <br /> any kind shall be used, burned, or oxidized for the protection of <br /> trees, shrubs or plants from frost damage, in uninclosed areas, <br /> <br /> <br />
