except in a heater as herein defined ~d under the conditions <br />herein set forth. This prohibition does not apply to such <br />heating by natural gases, lie~ified petroleum gases, electricity, <br />wind machine, steam,°~ot water. <br /> (a) Class I Heaters are any type of heater which is so de- <br />fined and equipped that it will not discharge unconsumed solid <br />carbonaceous r~tter at a rate in excess of 1/2 gram per minute. <br />Class I Heaters include Pipeline Systems, including Kittle <br />Heaters; Universal Return Stack Heaters, its equivalent or <br />better; Briquet or Coke heaters only ~%en used with briquet <br />or coke, and will b e enlarged to include any heaters which are <br />shown by competent test to come within the definition of a Class <br />I Heater. <br /> <br /> (b) Class II Heaters are hereby permitted for use only when <br />the draft regulator is so adjusted as to permit a meximum air <br />orifice within the limitation indication below for such heater. <br />Permits for Class II Heaters shall set forth the maximum air <br />orifice permitted for each type covered by the permit, and no <br />person shall burn any Class II Heater inthe City with an ori- <br />Fice or an opening greater than that permitted on such permit <br />or set forth herein below, except for the first five minutes <br />after the heater is lighted.
