SECTION 2. The proposition to be presented to the electors <br />and to be printed upon the ballots used in said election shall be <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />following words: <br /> <br /> Shall the territory designated (- <br /> ''Sullivan and Edinger Annex" be ( YES <br /> annexed to the City of Santa Ana?( NO <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. That there shall be one voting precinct, consist- <br />ing 'of those portions of Diamond l, Diamond 2 and Diamond 3 precints <br />lying within the territory hereinbefore described, and that the <br />place at which polls will be open for this election in this consoli- <br />dated precinct will be at Diamond School-Hallway, located at 24o5 <br />West Edinger Street, Santa Ana, California, a place commonly used <br />for voting within said territory. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4- The Precinct Board of said precinct shall consist <br />of two Judges and one inspector. The election ~f~cers in said <br />precinct shall be those named on the document headed "NOTICE OF <br />ELECTION OFFICERS AND P0~!NG PLACES" to be adopted by the City <br />Council by Resolution. 'l~ne Clerk of theCouncil is hereby authorized <br />to find ~nd appoint substitutes for any election officer thereby <br />appointed who is unable or unwilling to act. <br /> <br /> Precinct ~fficers shall receive the following compensation: <br />The inspector, $21.00, aud each of the Judges, $18.00, for their <br />work as such officers; owners of privately owned polling places <br />shall receive the sum of ~9.00 for the use of each polling place. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. Said election shall be held and conducted in <br />accordance with the laws regulating municipal elections, the <br />election code of the State of California insofar as the same are <br /> <br />applicable to this election, <br />polls shall be open at ? <br />shall be kept open until ? <br />polls shall be closed. <br /> <br />and the Annexation Act of 1913. The <br />A.M. on the day of said election, and <br /> <br /> P.M. of said day, at which time the <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. The Clerk of the Council shall cause to be pub- <br />lished a NOTICE OF ELECTION at least once a week for four week <br />prior to March 10, 1959, inanewspaper of gener~ circulation <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
