ORDINANCE NO. N$-507 PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING <br />OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE CItY OF <br />SAI~A ANA, CALIFOR/~IA, AA~D IN THOSE PORTIONS OF <br />THE SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICTS LYING OUTSIDE OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, ON APRIL 4TH, 1961, FOR <br />THE ELECTION OF CITY OFFICERS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN'~A ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That a General Municipal Election called and <br />provided for by Resolution No. 61-h6 shall be held on the 4th <br />day of April, 1961, in the City of Santa Ana, California, and in <br />those portions of the Santa Aha School Districts lying outside of <br />the City of Santa Ana, and the Voting Precincts shall be those 85 <br />Voting Precincts established by said Resolution, and the Precinct <br />Board for each Precinct shall consist of those Election Officers <br />appointed by this City Council by said Resolution. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That each Precinct Board shall consist of one (1) <br />Inspector, one (1) Judge and two (2) Clerks, and they shall receive <br />the following compensation: Inspector, $21.00; Judge and Clerks, <br />$18.00 each for their work as such Officers during said Election; <br />and the owners of privately owned Polling Places used in said Elec- <br />tion shall receive for such use the sum of $10.00. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. 'That the Polls shall be opened at 7:00 A.M. on <br />the day of said Election and shall be kept open until 7:00 P.M. of <br />said day, at which time the Polls shall be closed. Said Election <br />shall be held and conducted in accordance with the laws regulating <br />municipal elections in General Law cities and with the election laws <br />of the State of California. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. That said General Municipal Election is provided <br />and held to elect three (3) members of the City Council from among <br />the nominees nominated from Wards One, Three and Five. Said members <br />of the City Council shall be elected by the vote of the registered <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
