ORDINANCE NO. NS-5?~ AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 378 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 378 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Co~unission has given notice of and duly <br /> held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 378, initiated by <br /> CLARK J. BONNER for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br /> <br /> District to the C-5 and R-4 Districts, and said commission has recom- <br />~mended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Aha, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning a~ a point on the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street located 415.4 feet, more or less, Westerly from <br /> that point where the center line of Seventeenth Street <br /> intersects the Center line of Mabury Street; thence <br /> Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 249.4 feet, <br /> more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br /> distance of 390.4 feet, more or less; thence Northerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Llnwood Avenue for a distance of 249.4 feet, more or <br /> less, to the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br /> Easterly, continuing along the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street for a distance of 390.4 feet, more or less, to the <br /> point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 378 A) is hereby amended to <br /> <br />show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
