ORDINANCE NO. NS-60~ DECLARING THE ANNFZ~ATION <br />OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRFiAVEN AND GRAND <br />S. E. ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 6, 19~2, the City Council of the City of <br />Santa kna declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by <br />Resolution No. J2-152, which said Resolution was regularly published <br />as required by law and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held <br />September 17, 19~2, which hearing was regularly held; and after final <br />adjournment of said hearing on protests, it was found and declared by <br />Resolution No. 62-18~ that a majority protest had not been made. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory, <br />hereinbelow described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution <br /> <br />No. 62-152 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to <br />the City of Santa Ana and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness <br />of the City existing at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: %~at all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, and described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the North line <br />of Fairhaven Avenue, said North line being 30 feet North, <br />measured at right angles from the center line of said <br />Fairhaven Avenue with the existing boundary of the Fairhaven <br />and Cambridge N.W. Annex to the City of Santa Aha, California, <br />said point being 5.5 feet West, measured at right angles from <br />the East line of Lot 13, Block "D" of the A. B. Chapman <br />Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in December, 1870, and <br />shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, Page 15, <br />Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, california; <br />thence departing from said existing boundary West along said <br />North line of Fairhaven Avenue 320 feet, more or less, to <br />the Northerly prolongation of the West line of Grand Avenue, <br />said West line being parallel with and 40 feet West, measured <br />at right angles from the center line of Grand Avenue; thence <br />South along said West line of said Grand Avenue and its <br />Northerly extension 726.14 feet to the Westerly prolongation <br />of the South line of Tract No. 4424 as shown on a m~P thereof <br />recorded in Book 160, Pages 24 and 25, Miscellaneous Maps, <br />Records of said Orange County; thence North 89° 56' 55" East <br />40 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 4424; <br />thence North 89° 56' 55" East 296.06 feet along the South <br />line of said tract to the Southeast corner of said tract; <br />thence North 0° 03' 30" West 500.00 feet along the East line <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
