ORDINANCE NO. NS-606 DECI~IRING THE AlqNEXATION <br />OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SANTA CLARA AND DEODAR <br />S. ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 6, 1962, the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by <br />Resolution No. 62-151, which said Resolution was regularly published <br />as required by law, and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held <br />Septen~ber 17, 1962, which hearing was regularly held; and after final <br />adjournment of said hearing on protests, it was found and declared by <br />Resolution No. 62-183 that a majority protest had not been made. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTAANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory, <br />hereinbelow described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution <br /> <br />No. 62-151 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to <br />the City of Santa Aha and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness <br />of the City existing at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, and described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the City boundary of the City of <br />Santa Aha, California, said point being on the North line of <br />the Tustin and Seventeenth N.E. Arauex (Ordinance No. NS-468) <br />to the City of Santa Ana, said point also being on the North <br />line of the South half of Lot 12 in Block "B" of the A. B. <br />Chapman Tract, as surveyed by Frank LeCouvreur in December, <br />1870, as shown on a map of survey filed in Book 9, Page 39, <br />Records of Survey, County of Orange, in the Office of the <br />County Recorder of said County, said point being 30 feet <br />West of the West line of the East half of said Lot 12; thence <br />departing from said City boundary North 0° 53' 22" East <br />parallel with and 30 feet West measured at right angles from <br />the West line of the East half of the North half of said <br />Lot 12, a distance of 635 feet, more or less, to the South <br />line of Santa Clara Avenue, said South line being parallel <br />with and 25 feet South, measured at right angles from the <br />North line of said Lot 12; thence South 88° 57' 07" East 126 <br />feet, more or less, along said South line, to a point on said <br />South line, which is 563.46 feet West, measured along said <br />South line, from the East line of said Lot 12; thence South <br />1° 02' 53" West 25 feet; thence South 85° 30' 20" East 249.45 <br />feet; thence South 82° 39' 05" East 154.94 feet; thence South <br />85° 58' 36" East 160.88 feet to the East line of said Lot 12 <br />and to the existing boundary of the Marshall Annexation to <br />the City of Tustin, California; thence South 0° 53' 22" West <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
