EMISE SIGN <br /> <br />PROJECTING DOUBLE-FACED <br />BUILDING SIGN <br /> <br />REVOLVING SIGN <br />ROOF SIGN <br /> <br />SIGN <br /> <br />SIGN STRUCTURE <br /> <br />Signs required by law,~including <br />legal notices or advertisement <br />prescribed by law or posted by any <br />lawful officer or agent. <br /> <br />A permanent, roofed structure <br />attached to and supported by the <br />building and projecting over public <br />property. <br /> <br />A sign which advertises other than <br />the name of the bu~ihess and the <br />principal product or service. <br /> <br />Any sign designed to advertise a <br />product, event, person or subject <br />not related to the lot on which the <br />sign is located. <br /> <br />A sign which carries only advertise- <br />ments strictly incidental to a lawful <br />use of the premises on which it is <br />located, including signs or sign <br />devices indicating the business <br />transacted, services rendered, goods <br />sold or produced on the premises, <br />name of the business, name of the <br />person, firm or corporation occupying <br />the premises, and for sale, for <br />lease, and for rent signs. <br /> <br />A double-faced sign which projects <br />more than twelve (12) inches over <br />public property and which uses a <br />building wall as its main source of <br />support. <br /> <br />A sign which revolves 360 degrees <br />but does not exceed 8 RPM <br /> <br />A sign erected upon or above a roof <br />or parapet wall of a building and <br />which is wholly or partially supported <br />by said building. <br /> <br />Any sign or device and all parts <br />thereof which are used to advertise <br />products, goods, services or other- <br />wise promote the sale of objects <br />or identify objects for sale. <br /> <br />Any structure which supports or is <br />capable of supporting a sign as <br />defined in this Code.
