4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1102 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA <br />CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT <br />APPLICATION 689, FILED BY MARVIN M. AND RUSSELL <br />F. ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />5-5-9 (EXHIBIT A.A. 689-B.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application <br />689, filed by Marvin M. and Russell F. Rohrs proposing to <br />prezone from 60-A1-7200 (County) District to R 2 (City) <br />District the property hereinbelow described; and said Com- <br />mission, by its Resolution 5973, has recommended approval <br />of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. <br />689-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the hereinbelow described real property was <br />annexed to and made a part of the City of Santa Ana on <br />January 14, 1972; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with ~41-189 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code it was automatically classified as A 1 Dis- <br />trict; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on said reclassification on published notice as <br />required by law, and does now find that the public neces- <br />sity, convenience and general welfare require that said <br />property be rezoned from the A 1 District to the R 1 Dis- <br />trict, and that the new classification will not be detri- <br />mental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of <br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described <br />as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1. <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersections of the center <br />lines of Old Grand Street and Santa Clara <br />Avenue, thence easterly along the centerline <br />of Santa Clara Avenue, also being the boundary <br />of the City of Santa Ana, for a distance of <br />745.45 feet more or less to the True Point of <br />Beginning. Thence continuing north along said <br />City boundary for a distance of 185 feet more <br />or less; thence easterly along said City boun- <br />dary for a distance of 105 feet more or less; <br />thence continuing south along said City boundary <br />and its southerly prolongation for a distance of <br />185 feet more or less to the centerline of Santa <br />Clara Avenue; thence westerly along the center- <br />line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of <br />105 feet more or less to the True Point of Be- <br />ginning. <br /> <br />Parcel 2. <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the boundary of the <br />City of Santa Ana 185 feet more or less north <br />of the Ture Point of Beginning of Parcel 1; <br />thence continuing easterly along said City <br />boundary for a distance of 105 feet more or <br />less; thence south along said City boundary <br />and its southerly prolongation for a distance <br />of 185 feet more or less to the centerline of <br />Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along said <br /> <br /> <br />
