Ce <br /> <br />To the maximum Possible extent, thc objectives of the <br />plan are to be accomp2i~ked through Agency encouragement <br />of, and assistance to, private enterprise in carrying out <br />development activities with a minimum of Redevelopment <br />Agency and Redevelopment Commission control and review.~ <br />In this regard, the plan provides for Agency and Commission <br />review of development plans only in those cases where the <br />Agency is entering into land disposition agreements or <br />owner participation agreements. <br /> <br />TYPES OF PROPOSED RENEWAL ACTIONS <br /> <br />In accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local <br />laws the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Aha <br />(hereinafter called "the Agency") shall take the following <br />actions: <br /> <br />Establish standards for the rehabilitation, alteration <br />modernization, general improvement or any combination <br />thereof (hereinafter called "rehabilitation") by the <br />owners of certain existing structures. <br /> <br />Acquisition of real property by purchase, gift, devise, <br />exchange, condemnation or any other lawful means. <br /> <br />Relocation of the occupants presently residing in <br />structures which are acquired. <br /> <br />Demolition, removal or clearance of certain existing <br />buildings and structures on land acquired by the <br />Agency. <br /> <br />Arrangement with proper auth'orities for the vacation <br />and realignment of certain streets, utilities, and <br />other rights-of-way· <br /> <br />Reservation of certain areas for public streets, <br />rights-of-way, and other public purposes. <br /> <br />Installation of public plazas, pedestrianways and/or <br />pedestrian overpasses, and other necessarM site <br />improvements, facilities, and undergeound placement <br />of all utility lines and services. <br /> <br />Formulation and administration of rules for owner <br />participation. <br /> <br />Formulation and administration of rules governing <br />reasonable preference to persons who are engaged in <br /> <br /> <br />
