NS-1213 <br />PAGE SIX <br /> <br /> If a permit has been issued for a project located in an <br />=rea outside of the 9urisdiction of the City, 100% of the <br />electrical permit fee may be refunded. If a dpulicate permit <br />has been erroneously issued, 100% of the duplicated permit fee <br />may be refunded. In no other case shall any part of any plan- <br />checking fee be refunded. <br /> <br />91-18. When any part of a wiring installation is to be hidden <br />from view, the person, firm or corporation installing the wiring <br />shall notify the director of building safety and such parts of <br />the wiring installation shall not be concealed until they have <br />been inspected and approved by the director of building <br />safety. <br /> <br />91-19. Inspections and corrections. Upon completion of the work <br />which has been authorized by issuance of any permit, except an <br />annual permit, it shall be the duty of the person, firm, or <br />corporation installing the same to notify the director of build- <br />ing safety who shall inspect the installation as soon thereafter <br />as practicable. If, upon inspection, the installation is not <br />found to be in conformity with the provisions of this code, the <br />director of building safety shall notify the person, firm, or <br />corporation making the installation, stating the defects which <br />have been found to exist. All defects shall be corrected within <br />ten (10) days after inspection and notification, or within other <br />reasonable time as permitted by the director of building safety. <br />No electrical installation shall be energized until inspected <br />and approved by the director of building safety. <br /> <br />91-20. TEMPORARY CONNECTION. <br /> <br /> When authorizing the connection and use of temporary or <br />incomplete work, such ~uthorization shall expire at a time to <br />be stated by the director of building safety. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, <br />clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any <br />reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the deci- <br />sion of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision <br />shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of <br />~his ordinance. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance <br />and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or <br />portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or <br />more sections, subsections, clauses, phrases or portions be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor <br />the repeal hereby of any ordinance shall in any manner affect <br />the prosecution for violation of ordinances, which violations <br />were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be <br />construed as affecting any of the provisions of such ordi- <br />nances relating to the collection of any such license or <br />penalty or the penal provisions applicable to any violation <br />thereof, nor to affect the validity of any bond or case de- <br />posit in lieu thereof, required to be posted, filed or depo- <br />sited pursuant to any ordinance, and all rights and obliga- <br />tions thereunder appertaining shall continue in full force <br />and effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
