PLAN CHECK FEE <br /> <br /> Whenever electrical plans are required by the building <br />nfficial, plan check fees shall be 50% of the electrical permit <br />fee and shall be paid at the time of submitting plans. <br /> <br />91-14. SPECIAL INVESTIGATION FEE <br /> <br /> A special investigation fee may be charged by the building <br />official for any inspection of a building, structure, work re- <br />ports, certification, or any other related work requested by an <br />owner or his authorized agent. Such fee shall be assessed in <br />an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs incurred <br />but in no case shall be less than fifteen dollars ($15). <br /> <br />91-15. REINSPECTION FEE <br /> <br /> When any reinspection is required due to the negligence of <br />the permit holder, his agent, or other responsible person, or <br />due to the failure of said parties to comply with previous cor- <br />rection instructions, a fee of five dollars ($5) may be charged <br />by the building official prior to each such reinspection. <br /> <br />91-16. VIOLATION INVESTIGATION FEE <br /> <br /> Whenever any work for which a permit is required under the <br />provisions of this code has commenced without the authorization <br />of such permit, an investigation may be required before a permit <br />will be issued for such work. In addition to the regular elec- <br />trical permit fee and any penalty fee, an investigation fee <br />which may be collected is as follows: <br /> <br />When the permit fee is: <br /> <br />Investigation fee <br /> <br />$10 or less ........................... $10 <br />more than $10 ......................... 25 <br /> <br />91-17. REFUND OF FEES <br /> <br /> Upon written request from the permittee, refunds of electrical <br />permit fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal to <br />80% of the electrical permit fee paid; except that no permit fee <br />shall be refunded under any of the following circumstances: <br /> <br />1. If the electrical permit fee is $5.00 or less. <br /> <br />2. After one year has elapsed from the date of the issuance <br /> of the permit. <br /> <br />3. If any inspections have been performed by the Department <br /> of Building Safety and Housing. <br /> <br /> <br />
