ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1674 <br />PAGE SEVEN <br /> <br />SECTION 5: That section 41-617 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-617. Same - Minimum requirements. <br /> <br /> Off-street parking shall be as provided in the <br />following sections; provided, however, that, for any <br />building used for non-residential and non-industrial <br />purposes having a gross floor area of less than 2000 square <br />feet, at least one parking space shall be provided for each <br />200 square feet of gross floor area. <br /> <br />SECTION 6: That section 41-617(a) of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-617(a). One-family, two-family and <br /> three-family dwellings. <br /> <br /> A minimum of four (4) parking spaces for each dwelling <br />unit shall be provided for one-family, two-family, and three- <br />family dwellings. At least two (2) of such spaces shall be <br />provided in a garage, and the remaining spaces may be <br />located as tandem spaces in a driveway providing access to <br />such garage. <br /> <br />SECTION 7: That section 41-617(b) of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-617(b). Multiple-family dwelling units. <br /> <br /> The minimum requirements for off-street parking for <br />multiple-family uses shall be as hereinafter provided: <br /> 1.0 spaces for each bachelor unit. <br /> 1.2 spaces for each one-bedroom unit. <br /> 1.8 spaces for each two-bedroom unit. <br /> 2.4 spaces for each unit with three (3) or more <br /> bedrooms. <br /> <br />Of the above-required spaces, at least one (1) space per <br />unit shall be covered as either a garage or a carport. In <br />addition to the above-required spaces, parking areas <br />designed and located so as to be readily available for guest <br />parking must be provided, in not less than the sum of the <br />following: <br /> <br />0.5 space for each unit up through ten (10) units. <br />0.2 space for each unit in excess of ten (10) units <br /> up through one hundred (100) units. <br />0.1 space for each unit in excess of one hundred <br /> (100) units. <br /> <br /> <br />
