ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1721 <br />PAGE TEN <br /> <br />approved, ~nless the proposed sign conforms to a planned <br />sign program approved by the city in accordance with this <br />Article. <br /> <br /> (b) <br />new development which is characterized by one or more of <br />following features: <br /> <br /> (1) The new development will have six or more <br />signs. <br /> <br />more than 200 <br /> <br />A Planned sign program shall be required for any <br /> the <br /> <br />The new deveiopment has a lineal dimension of <br />feet on any side facing a public street. <br /> <br /> (3) The new development will consist of fiVe or <br />more business activities.~ <br /> <br /> (4) The new development will be or include a <br />building higher than three stories or 50 feet. <br /> <br /> a <br /> <br /> (5) The new development will be or include <br />theater or a gasoline station. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-896. Application. <br /> <br /> An application for an approved sign program may be <br />filed only by, or with the written'consent of, the developer <br />or owner of a new development or by, or with the written <br />consent of, the owner of an already developed site. <br /> <br /> An application for a planned sign program shall be <br />filed in the same manner as an application for a sign permit <br />pursuant to section 41-890. In addition to the information <br />required by that section, the application shall include <br />pictorial representations of all faces of the development <br />showing any existing or proposed signage and shall provide <br />information on the colors, materials, letter and figure <br />height, copy, and illumination and movement characteristics, <br />if any, of every existing or proposed sign on or appurtenant <br />to the subject development. If and when the application is <br />approved, the drawings and documentation submitted with the <br />application shall constitute the planned sign program for <br />the development, together with any conditions imposed by the <br />city at the time of approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
