ORDINANCE NO. Ns-l?21 <br />PAGE NINE <br /> <br />and shall make a decision thereon within 21 calendar days <br />after filing. If the proposed sign complies with this <br />Article and with all other requirements of law, the sign <br />permit shall be issued. If the proposed sign can be brought <br />into such compliance by modifications, the permit shall be <br />issued subject to conditions requiring such modifications. <br />Otherwise, the application shall be denied. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-892. Review by the planning commission. <br /> <br /> If the applicant is aggrieved by any determination by <br />the zoning administrator of non-compliance of the proposed <br />sign with the provisions of this Article, or in any case <br />where the zoning administrator is uncertain whether or not a <br />proposed sign complies with the provisions of this Article <br />due to any ambiguity in such provisions, then either the <br />applicant or the zoning administrator may request review by <br />the planning commission. In such event, the time for deci- <br />sion on the application shall be extended to allow for such <br />review, and the decision of the planning commission shall be <br />final. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-893. Removal of temporary signs. <br /> <br /> In any case where a permit is issued for a sign or <br />advertising display to be installed for a limited time only, <br />the zoning administrator may require, as a condition of <br />approval of the permit, that the applicant post a cash de- <br />posit in amount of the estimated cost of removal of the <br />sign, but not to exceed $500, refundable upon removal of the <br />sign, and an agreement to permit the city to enter upon the <br />sit~ and remove and dispose of the sign in the event such <br />sign is not removed when required to be removed. <br /> <br />DIVISION 5. PLANNED'SIGN PROGRAMS <br /> <br />Sec. 41-895.
