ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1743 <br /> <br />REL:adg <br />6/14/84 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH- <br />EAST OF THE INTERCHANGE BETWEEN THE SANTA <br />ANA AND GARDEN GROVE FREEWAYS FROM THE <br />0 (OPEN SPACE) AND R1 (SINGLE FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICTS TO THE C2-HDII <br />(GENERAL COMMERCIAL-HEIGHT DISTRICT II) <br />DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 901 has been filed <br />to make certain changes in the zoning district designations of <br />certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed <br />public hearing, has recommended approval of the changes in use <br />district designations as proposed in said Amendment Application; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- <br />ing, has determined that the changes in use district designations <br />proposed in the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by <br />the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That parcel of real property located generally south- <br />east of the interchange between the Santa Ana and Garden Grove <br />Freeways in the City of Santa Ana, and more specifically des- <br />cribed as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorpor- <br />ated herein, is hereby reclassified from the O (Open Space) <br />District to the C2-HDII (General Commercial-Height District II) <br />District. <br /> <br /> 2. That parcel of real property located generally south- <br />east of the interchange between the Santa Ana and Garden Grove <br />Freeways and more specifically described as set forth in Exhibit <br />B, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby reclassified <br />from the R1 (Single Family Residential) District to the C2-HDII <br />(General Commercial-Height District II) District. <br /> <br /> <br />
