NS-1756 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 41-252, 41-368, 41- <br />369, 41-370, 41-380, 41-381, 41-383, <br />41-416, 41-610, 41-610.5 AND 41-611 OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE <br />VARIOUS DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS PERTAIN- <br />ING TO PARKING LOTS, YARD REQUIREMENTS, <br />WALLS, FENCES AND LANDSCAPING <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 41-252 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-252. Off?street parking in the R2 district. <br /> <br /> (a) Off-street parking shall be provided in the <br />manner prescribed in Article IV of this chapter. <br /> <br /> (b) <br />41-247(c) <br /> <br />An~ parking lot permitted pursuant to section <br />shall conform to the following requirements: <br /> <br /> (1) To the extent that the lot on which the <br />parking lot is located is adjacent to other resi- <br />dentially zoned property, or separated therefrom <br />only by a p~blic right-of-way, a landscaped plant- <br />er of at least ten (10) feet in width shall be <br />installed and maintained along the lot line; pro- <br />vided, however, such minimum width requirement <br />may be modified to accommodate unusual circum- <br />stances or special design constraints. <br /> <br /> (2) Required landscaped areas shall include, <br />at a minimum, one fifteen-gallon canopy tree, one <br />five-gallon tree, and five (5) five-gallon shrubs <br />for every thirty (30) feet of length of the land- <br />scaped area. The trees and shrubs shall be mature <br />and capable of acting as an effective buffer <br />between the parking lot and nearby residentially <br />zoned property. <br /> <br /> <br />
