ORDINANCE NO. NS-1903 PAGE FIVE SECTION 11: That Section 8-972 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 8-972. Flexible metal conduit shall not be used (1) in wet locations unless~cond~utors are of the lead-covered type or of other type specifically approved for the conditions; (2) in hoistways, other than as provided in Section 620-21; (3) in storage battery rooms; (4) in any hazardous location other than permf~ted in F~ections 501-4(b), 502-4 and 503-3; nor (5) where rubber-covered conductors are exposed to oil, gasoline, or other materials having a deteriorating effect on rubber; (6) for installation underground, exposed to moisture, embedded in masonry, concrete, adobe, plaster or similar finish; (7) where exposed to physical damage. SECTION 12: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a section, to be numbered § 8-973, which said section shall read as follows: Sec. 8-973. Junction, pull and outlet boxes to be accessible (Section 370-19).
