NS- 1970 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 41-505, 41-506, 41-507, 41-508, 41-509, <br />AND 41-510 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND <br />ADDING SECTION 41-512, TO REVISE THE LM (LIMITED <br />MANUFACTURING) DISTRICT ZONING REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That section 41-505 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-505. Purpose. <br /> <br /> The purpose of the LM district is to provide for orderly, <br />spacious, and landscaped business parks and light industrial <br />development free of obnoxious uses. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That section 41-506 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-506. Uses permitted in the LM district. <br /> <br />The following uses are permitted in the LM district: <br /> <br />(a) The assembly or packaging of products from pre- <br /> viously prepared materials. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Printing and publishing facilities and facilities <br />for blueprinting, photo-engraving and other <br />reproduction processes. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Wholesale establishments not open to the general <br />public and not exceeding 10,000 square feet of <br />gross floor area. <br /> <br />(d) Research and development facilities and labor- <br /> atories. <br /> <br />(e) Professional, administrative and general offices. <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />Commercial and service uses, provided they are <br />located in a business park and do not occupy more <br />than ten percent of the gross floor area of such <br />business park in the aggregate, and provided fur- <br />ther that they serve or support the users and <br />employees of other businesses in such business <br />park. As used herein "business park" means a <br />physically integrated development having more <br />than one business owner or tenant. <br /> <br /> <br />
