MITIGATION NEASURE$ FOR <br />NUTTON CIVIC CENTER PLAZA <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION (ER 89-9) <br /> <br />507 <br /> <br />The following mitigation measures from Lhe Hutton Civic Center <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration are conditions of approval of Site <br />Plan Review 8g-18, Verification of compliance shall occur as <br />indicated: <br /> <br />A. The £ollowing details shall be incorporated onto plans <br /> submitted £or Building Plan Check: <br /> <br /> 1, A v~rcel map shal~ be applied ~or. and approved prior to <br /> submittal into building plan check. <br /> <br /> 2. Install decorative paving at all driveway entrances and <br /> exits. In addition, decorative paving shall be used <br /> throughout the courtyard area and it shall be used linking the <br /> parking structure to the open courtyard, <br /> <br /> 3. A landscape plan shall be sumitted to the Landscape Associate. <br /> <br /> 4, Depict alley aprons at Third Street and Santa Ama Boulevard <br /> (west end of project) to be per City Standard ~111 (curb <br /> return type not allowed). <br /> <br /> 5. Subterranean parking shall: <br /> <br /> a. have an automatic firm sprinkler system, and <br /> b. have mechanical smoke removal, <br /> <br /> 6. Sheriff'a underground access tunnel between subterranean <br /> parking and tower basement shall have automatic fire <br /> sprinklers and mechanical smoke removal. <br /> 7. The following conditions pertain to the parking structure: <br /> <br /> a. Additional access points shall be equipped with sliding <br /> or rolling gates operated by both automatic and manual <br /> controls along the southern perimeter. <br /> <br /> b. The exterior walls surrounding the first [looi (ground <br /> level) will be a maximum o£ 3 [eet high, <br /> c. Decorative grill work (1/2 inch round steel, maximum <br /> spacing 5 inches) or metal screening must be provided in <br /> the s~ace between the top of the 1st floor wall and the <br /> flooring of the second parking level, <br /> <br /> d. Exterior walls will be of open air'design to provide <br /> maximum visibility. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT D <br /> <br /> <br />
