508 <br /> <br />MITIGATION HEASURES FOR <br />HUTTON CIVIC CENTER PLAZA <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> Se <br /> <br /> 9. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br /> Elevators and stairwells connecting decks of the facility <br /> will have large windows or be open air to the exterior of -' <br /> the structure. <br /> Stairwell exterior first floor exit doors will be <br /> designed "one way" with hardware on the inside only. <br /> Sub stairwells must be equipped with a minimum 8 inch <br /> convex shatterproof mirror at each stairway bend. <br /> Doors leading into stairwell or elevator landlngs or <br /> lobbies must be equipped with a minimum maximum 10 inch <br /> fire rated window placed at a S foot level. <br /> <br />i. First £1oor stairwell vestibules must be fully enclosed <br /> with a see-through faaterial which allows egress only. <br /> <br />j. Two ca~eras will be positioned on each parking deck. <br /> <br />k. The access tunnel running between subterranean parking <br /> and basement of tower shall be secured. <br /> A sign will be posted at all access points that the struture <br /> is being monitored. <br /> The service drive is to be provided with a minimum maintained <br /> one footcandle of light. <br /> The open space between towers to be provided with a minimum <br /> maintained O,Z$ footcandles of light. <br /> <br /> Introduction o£ new light and glare: <br /> <br /> a. Bxterior lighting along the westerly and southerly areas <br /> of the property shall be minimized to only include <br /> lighting sufficient for security purposes to the <br /> satisfaction of the City of Santa Rna Police Department. <br /> <br /> b. Where appropriate, directional lighting shall be used to <br /> direct light away from adjacent residential land uses· - <br /> <br /> c. Should significant exterior building glazing be used, <br /> interior building lighting shall be minimized to a level <br /> that is sufficient for security purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
