The overall height plus the <br />overall width shall not exceed 16 linear feet and <br />the sign face area shall not exceed 45 square feet. <br /> <br />(3) Developments over 15 acres and with at least 750 <br />feet of street frontage shall have no more than one <br />freestanding sign not to exceed 15 feet in overall <br />height and 10 feet in overall width; the sign face <br />area shall not exceed 60 square feet. Such sign <br />shall not be located on any secondary frontage. <br /> <br />(4) A sign may be permitted to a height not exceeding <br />35 feet and an area not exceeding 100 square feet, <br />provided all of the following conditions are <br />satisfied: <br /> <br />a. The sign is located on a site which has <br />frontage on a freeway right-of-way or which is <br />located within 300 feet of a freeway exit <br />centerline; <br /> <br />b. The sign is oriented toward viewing by freeway <br />traffic; <br /> <br />[, <br /> <br />c. The sign is limited in content to the <br />identification of the business name. The <br />business shall offer a service or product of <br />specific interest to the traveling public <br />including, but not limited to, transient <br />lodging, prepared food and goods, and services <br />necessary to the normal operation of motor <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Desiqn. <br /> <br />(I) All signs shall be architecturally compatible with <br />the development on which it is located. <br /> <br />6 <br />
