<br />ORDINANCE NS 2141 <br />PAGE FOUR <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />037 l <br /> <br />marked curb, during the time period specified in <br />such sign, for any purpose other than the loading <br />or unloading or passengers or materials, provided <br />that the loading or unloading of passengers shall <br />not consume more than three (3) minutes nor the <br />unloading of materials more than twenty (20) <br />minutes, and such loading or unloading shall be <br />actively carried on during all of the said time. <br /> <br />white curb markings shall mean no stopping, <br />standing or parking at any time of any day, or, if <br />a sign specifying a time period has been posted <br />adjacent to the white marked curb, during the time <br />period specified in such sign, for any purpose <br />other than stopping for three (3) minutes or less <br />for the purpose of loading or unloading of <br />passengers, or for the purpose of depositing mail <br />in an adjacent mailbox. <br /> <br />Green curb markings shall mean no stopping, <br />standing or parking for a period of time longer <br />than twelve (12) or twenty-four (24) minutes at all <br />times or during certain hours of the day as <br />designated by signs. Such restrictions may be <br />limited so as not to apply on specified days and, <br />if so limited, such limitation shall also be <br />designated on said signs. <br /> <br />Blue curb markings or a sign consisting of a <br />profile view of a wheelchair with occupant in white <br />on a blue background posted immediately adjacent to <br />and visible from each parking space, indicates <br />parking for the exclusive use of physically <br />handicapped persons whose vehicles display either <br />one of the distinguishing license plates issued to <br />disabled persons pursuant to Section 22511.5 of the <br />california Vehicle Code or to disabled veterans, as <br />specified in section 9105 of the California Vehicle <br />Code. <br /> <br />SECTION 8: That section 36-133 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 36-133. <br /> <br />No parking or standing during street sweeping. <br /> <br />(a) No operator of any motor vehicle, and no person who <br />owns or has possession, custody or control of any vehicle <br />shall stop, stand or park such vehicle upon any street in the <br />city that is designated as to days and times for street <br />sweeping during the time period parking is prohibited for <br />street sweeping. <br /> <br />4 <br />
