028 ~,~l~ ~ N^N('I,: N.'~--22 I 4 <br /> Page 9 <br /> <br />Auto Nail Specific Development <br />Page 7 of 10 <br /> <br />(BD-60) <br /> <br />(g) <br /> <br />The copy area of a freestanding sign shall not <br />exceed forty (40) percent of the sign face. <br /> <br />(h) <br /> <br />The base of the freestanding sign is to be <br />made of rough sand-blasted concrete with <br />rounded ends, eighteen (18) inches high and <br />shall have a two inch high, on-inch deep <br />contrasting horizontal metal reveal on all <br />sides, four inches from the top (Exhibit B). <br /> <br />Directional Signage <br /> <br />No permit shall be issued for a directional sign which <br />does not comply with the following standards: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Minor freestanding dimectional signage (entrance, <br />service, etc) shall be consistent with the design <br />and materials of the full-size freestanding sign <br />(Exhibit B). <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Freestanding directional signs shall not exceed <br />four (4) square feet in sign area and a maximum <br />height of four (4) feet shall be allowed. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Freestanding directional signs shall contain only <br />that information necessary for on-site circulation, <br />parking and site information. A registered <br />manufacturer's logo may be utilized on the <br />directional signs for the service area. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Wall-mounted directional signs shall not exceed <br />four (4) square feet. Such directional signs shall <br />contain only that information necessary for on-site <br />circulation, parking and site information. No <br />advertising or loges are permitted. <br /> <br />Wall Signs. <br /> <br />No permit shall be issued for a wall sign which does not <br />comply with the following standards: <br /> <br />(1) Number. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Dealerships offering two or less <br />manufacturer's makes of new automobiles for <br />sale shall be permitted one wall sign for each <br />make on each wall of the showroom building up <br />to two wall signs per make of automobile. <br /> <br /> <br />
