City Hall, Santa Ana, Calif. Feb.17, 191S, at ?:~0 p.m. The Board met in regular session. Representatives from the Pacific Electric Railway Company, Southern California Edison Company, Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Com~any~ Santa Aha Home Telephone Company, Western Union TelegraL, h Company,and Postal Telegra?h Com- pany, met with the Board in relation to ~r~osed plan of Joint pole use in the City of Santa Ana. 0n motion of L~oPhee duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that a comnittee be appointed to investigate all ~ole lines in the City, excepting those lines on Main Street and Fourth Street. In pursuance to the foregoing Trustees McPhee and GXubb and City Engineer Finley are named a comittee. Dr. Roberts of the Bell Theater appeared before the Board and submitted plans ~O~ change pf exits in theater. On motion o£ Grubb, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that the plans of the ~ell Theater for 18 foot opening in front, ticket office on side, and rear doors to swing out were adopted, and that the said Theater be all, owed to res~e business as soon as alterations are made. On motion of Alderman, seconded by Grubb and carried, the City Attorney is instructed to notify the Nirror Theater 0ompany to change rear doors to swing out as per plans submitted. ~V.V. Hill of the Pacific Electric Railway Com.~,any appeared before the Board in rel.~tion to Ordinance No.§~0 asking for ~ranchise for switch On ,'~orth Main. Ordinance No. ~0, asking for franchise on North M~in Street for switch from Pacific Electric Railway's tracke~o Southern Pacific Railway Track was on motion of Grubb, seconded by McPhse, denied. The re,~uests of Roberts & Packard Electric ~om~any, and The Electrical Products Corporation for electric signs at 305 North Sycamore and 305 North Hain Streats 409 North Main Street were on motion granted.
