East Sixth Street In Re House mover's license Charles W. Thorpe In Re Removal of Trees First Street In Re Curb Line ~ast Pirst Street and the Clerk. An application for a Fire Hydrant at 5th and "D" Streets was p~eseneed and ordered referred to the Water Conm~ittee. O~d~uance No.55~, an Ordinance regulating the fares for Automobiles and all other vehicles transporting passengers for hims within the City Limits, was on motion referred to the City Attorney. l~esolution No. 85§, a Resolution of Intention to constru~ sidewclks and curbs on certain streets, was on motion re,fr- ed to the City Attorney. A petition of Malcolm Lloyd, et al, to abate noises in the Railroad ya~rds was on mo~ion referred to the City Health Officer. A petition of R.A. Hanning, et al, to compel the Pacific ~lectric Railway Company to extend its line on East Fourth Street, was on motion referred to the Pacific Electric Rail- way Coml:.any. Several recommendations for the betterment of the sanitary conditions of the City of Santa Aha, by the Civics League were presented and on motion ordered filed, and a vote of thanks extended to the ladies A l~etition of F.P. Nickey~, et for their efforts. a_l~ to commence proceedings to oil and gravel East Sixth Street between Main Street and SLurgeon Street was ordered filed. A ~ond of Charles W. Thorpe for house mover's license was on motion ordered approved and license ordered issued. A request of C.H. Ohal~man for permission to remove one tree on the North side ~ ~A~s~ Street between Main Street and Bush Street was on motion granted. A request of J.W. Flagg to lay curb line in front of his property on East First Street was on motion ordered granted.
