A comndttee from the local Lodge of the Moose,appeared before the Board ~nd asked pern~iss~on to use Birch Pa~k for ~icnic I.ur~oses and the streets for a parade,o~ June 9th.,191~. On motion the permsi~sion is granted. # S S F~nley a~peared before the Board and asked permission to move old building located on the corner of Mortime~ end ~oruth Streets. On motion of ~rubb seconded by Greenleaf and carried, pern~ission is granted to move building east on ~th street provided that suitable arrangen~ents are made with Com- panies owning overhead wires,a deposit of $~0 to be placed with the Oity Clerk before n~oving,and house mover agrees to pay $10 for every hour after ~ a.m. that building ren~ains on the street. # On ~ot~ou of Alders. an duly seconded end carried, the Clerk is instructed to proceed to open bids for pipe and fi=e hydrants,bids were submitted ~y the United Stctes Pipe Co.,An~erican Coast Iron Pi~e Co.,Lynchburg ~oundry Co., H B Boynton 'Co and Orane Co. On motion of Alder~mn duly seonded end carried the bids were submitted to a co~mittee consisting of Trutstees Alderr~an and Ey and Water ~upt Reid. # A report from Street Inspector Oogburn on street paving on Tenth Street was submitted and on motion o~lered filed. A ~eQueet of D W Cox for pern~ission to remodel building located at the homer of ~th street and Birch street was referred to the Police Oommittee with power to act. # The petition of ~ G Eimball et al petitioning the Boa~d for ~er~ission to allow prc~erty owners to put thei~ cement curbs in ten feet from the property line where wooden ~urbs now existz on Bush and second Street,was on motion Street between 1st St=est gr:-'ted.
