On motion the permsi~sion is granted. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> S S F~nley a~peared before the Board and asked permission <br /> to move old building located on the corner of Mortime~ <br /> end ~oruth Streets. <br /> <br /> On motion of ~rubb seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br /> pern~ission is granted to move building east on ~th street <br /> provided that suitable arrangen~ents are made with Com- <br /> panies owning overhead wires,a deposit of $~0 to be <br /> placed with the Oity Clerk before n~oving,and house mover <br /> agrees to pay $10 for every hour after ~ a.m. that <br /> building ren~ains on the street. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On ~ot~ou of Alders. an duly seconded end carried, the Clerk <br />is instructed to proceed to open bids for pipe and fi=e <br />hydrants,bids were submitted ~y the United Stctes Pipe <br />Co.,An~erican Coast Iron Pi~e Co.,Lynchburg ~oundry Co., <br /> <br />H B Boynton 'Co and Orane Co. On motion of Alder~mn duly <br />seonded end carried the bids were submitted to a co~mittee <br />consisting of Trutstees Alderr~an and Ey and Water ~upt <br />Reid. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />A report from Street Inspector Oogburn on street paving <br />on Tenth Street was submitted and on motion o~lered filed. <br /> <br />A ~eQueet of D W Cox for pern~ission to remodel building <br />located at the homer of ~th street and Birch street was <br />referred to the Police Oommittee with power to act. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The petition of ~ G Eimball et al petitioning the Boa~d <br />for ~er~ission to allow prc~erty owners to put thei~ <br />cement curbs in ten feet from the property line where <br /> <br />wooden ~urbs now existz on Bush <br />and second Street,was on motion <br /> <br />Street between 1st St=est <br />gr:-'ted. <br /> <br /> <br />
