Ziellian,Sewer North Syoamoro Street In Re exits Places of Amu s ement In Re Fire Escapes ' Arcade Rooming House On motion of McPhee, duly seconded, and carried, the bid of S.L~. Kerns for $15,900.00, was accepted, and the contract awarded to him by the following vote to-wit: Ayes, Aldern~, Mc?bee, Greenleaf, Grubb and ~y. Noes, None. # Resolution No.§SE, Resolution of Award, Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha,award contract for sewers. The above Resolution was passed and adopted by the following vote to-wit: Ayes, Alderman, McPhee, Greenleaf, Grubb and Noes, None. On motion of A~lderman, duly seconded and carried, the Clerk is directed to ~ublish notice of award of contract and to post Notice of award of contract. The petition of J.J. Ziellian, et al, to construct sewers on North Sycamore Street from the terminus of the present sewer South of Tenth Street,to West Washington Avenue,was on motion granted, provided however, that property advance necessary funds to pay for pipe before com~ence- ment of work. As per request of the Board of Trustees, A.L.Tucker appeared before the Board in reference to necessary exits at Dixie Theater. On motion of Grubb~ seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the plans as submitted by A.L. Tucker are accepted, and it is ordered that change be made within next ten days. A.E. Bird, appeared in behalf of the Mirror Theater Company and stated proposed changes in exit. On motion of Grubb, seconded by Alderman it is ordere~d, that Eirror Theater be provided with 1~ foot openings in front and that rear doors swing out instead of in,changes to be made within ~en days. No representative having appeared from the Bell Theater, it is on motion of Alderman seconded by Grubb and carried, ordered that action be deferred and that the Bell Theater remain closed until plans for alterations of exits are submitted and passed upon by the Board. On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that the City Attorney notify the owner of the Arcade Rooming House to provide necessary fire escapes in compliance with Building Ordinance within ~0 days.
