Association City Hall In Re Condensation Pro- ceedings Ninth Street Bristol to Artesia In Re Sewer District 6th St. and Nokomis Ave. On motion of McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the Park Commission is directed to repair an electric pole at the Birch Street Park. Oity Engineer Finley stated that it would coat approximately $~45.00 to grade South Plower Street from First St. to Fair- view Avenue. On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, the matter of grading South Plower St. from Pirst Bt. to Pair- view Ave., was referred to Trustees Grubb and Alderman and Oity Zngineer Finley with l~x to act. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that the South side of Santa Olara Avenue between Broadway and Main St., be sidewalked and curbed. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that sidewalks and curbs be laid on the South aide of 17th St., from Main St. to Broadway in front of property of Taylor, Joy, st al., and that the property owners be allowed to remove trees interfering with the curb line. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered ' that two acacia trees at 514 ~. Pine St.,be removed and re- placed with maple trees. On motion of Grubb, seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the request of Mr. Bartlett for the removal of trees at the Oorner of 18th and Broadway, be granted. On motion of Grubb, duly secondad and carried, it is ordered that the request of the M. & M. Association to meet 'in the Oity Hall be granted, provided suitable arrangemente can be made between the M.& M. Association and the Ohamber of Oomnsrce. On motion of Alderman, seconded by Grubb and carried, it is ordered that the Oity commence condemnation proceedings for the purpose of opening Ninth St. from Bristol to Artesia Streets, and that a district be formed from the abutting property and that the Oity Attorney be directed to notify the property owners of the Board's action. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, the former action of the Board calling for the formation of a sewer dietrict on Sixth and Nokomis was reecinded. On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, the Oity Sewe~ ~uperintendent is instructed to procure pipe and lay sewer on Sixth St., and Nokomis Ave. as coon as all money for the cost of the same is aasu~ed.
