Russell <br /> <br />In Re Re-Surfacing l~ench <br /> <br />Street between Fifth and <br /> <br />Washington <br /> <br />In Re Condition of Spurgeon <br /> <br />Street, botween Third and <br /> <br />Fifth <br /> <br />In Re com~.unication <br />Arthu~ Templeton <br /> <br />In Re Paving South <br />Main St. <br /> <br />In Re Oil and Gravel <br />Garnsey St. between <br /> <br />Orchard and Hick~y <br /> <br />Qrubb, gy and the Clerk. <br /> <br /> On motion of Alderman, seconded and carried, the <br /> ident of the Boaxd is named a committee to investigate <br /> and report on the ins%zance on the City ~all. <br /> <br /> An application from J.M.Russell asking to be appointed <br /> <br /> a Special Police at Olume'e Theater, and to serve wi~ out <br /> pay, was on motion of Alderman, seconded by McPhee, and <br /> carried, referred to the Police Committee ~ith power to <br /> act. <br /> <br /> The petition of Geo. S.Smith, et al, asking that ~reno~ <br /> Street between Fifth Street and Washington Avenue be <br /> resurfaced was on motion of Grubb,seconded by Mclrnee, <br /> and carried, ordered referred to the Street Committee, <br /> the City ~nginee~ and the Street Superintendent <br /> <br /> A communicatio~ from W.F.Lutz & CO., calling the Board's <br /> attention to the deplorable condition of Spurgeon Street <br /> between ~rd St., and §th St., occasioned by the tearing <br /> of the street by the telephone Company was on motion of <br /> Grubb, seconded by McPhee, ordered referred to the Str~ <br /> Committee, the City ~ngineer and the Street Superintendent <br /> with the recommendation that this Comittee investigate <br /> all streets repaired by public utilities, corporations <br /> and that said corporatione be instructed to put in certa~ <br /> repair wore on enid streets ac as to place them in as good <br /> condition as they were before they were torn u~. <br /> <br />~A coomunicaticn received complaining against sanitary con- <br /> ditione at certain residences on Pazton ~treet was on <br /> motion referred to the Health Officer for investigation. <br /> <br /> A petition signed by property owners on South Main Street <br /> between Bishop St., and South City Limits , asking that <br /> said street be paved was on motion referred back to <br /> t¥ owners for more signatures. <br /> <br /> On motion of MoFaee, duly seconded and carried, it is ordere~ <br /> that Garneey Street be graded from Hickey Street to Orchard <br /> and that the property owners will furnish the gravel and -oil <br /> for the same. <br /> <br /> <br />
