The ~eQueet of the Sells-Floto Show for a free license to in the ~ity of santa Ama, wac denied, and the City Clerk was directed to notify the chow people ~hat they would be expexcte d to pay the usual licenses. # On motion of McPhee, seconded by Alderman and carried, it ia ordered that the City Marshal enforce the provisions of ordinance No.549. The claim of ~.G. Eennedy as ~anitary Inspector, wac allowed for $65.00, and it ie u~deretood that Mr. Xennedy be allowed in the future $~5.00 per month to assist D~.Cla~k in making sanitary inepeetioze and to serve at the pleasure of the Board. On motion duly seconded and carried, the ~ity Clerk is ~o draw a warrant in favor of J.L. Weaver for $$.00 to interpreter's fees. The committee appointed to investigate and report on the bide submitted for A~toe for the Water Dept., wac given until Jan.~, 191~, at ?:$0 p.~. to report. On motion of Mc~hee, duly seconded and c smried, Trustees Green- leaf and Aide,man, and Oity ~ngineer ~inley are named a committm to select and install notices governing speed regulations aa ~ovided in the Amt~ Act. The report of SteWardess, Street Inspector, approving the paving work of Max L. Hube~man, contractor, on North Broadway between West ~Oth St.,and West Santa Clara Avenue was ordered filed. instructed The City Clerk was instructed to notify the ~outhern California Auto Club that the s~eed for motor vehicles in the City of Santa Ann would be ~he same as provided for in the State Auto Act. Ordinanc, an O~dinance of the City of Santa Ann regulating the travel of vehicles through alley~ wa~ read and ~ motion referred to the City Attorney. #
