The bond of F F Thorp for a Housemover~s license was on motion ordered approved by the President of the Board of Trustees and the City Clerk was directed to issue a houeemover's license ~o F F Thorp. # The resignation of S H Finley aa Building Inspec- tor was presented. On motion of Alderman duly seconded and carried action was deferred until the next meeting of the Board. # The resignation of S H Finleyas City Engineer was presented and read. On motion of Alderman duly seconded and carried,action was deferred until the next meeting of the Board. · On motion duly seconded and carried the City 01erk is directed to draw warrants on the City Treasurer covering demands Noe.545 to 699, and ae the ~ame are recorded in Warx~nt and Demand Book Nv. 1, pages 74-75-78 and 77. · On motion duly seconded and carried, the monthly reports of the several City Officers are ordered referred to the Finance Ce~mittee. on motion of Alderman duly seconded and carried, the City Clerk is directed to re-advertise for the sale of the City Manure and in the meantime the Street Superintendent is directed to sell the same to the beet advantage. On motion of McPhee duly seconded and carried the President of the Board is authorized to name a committee to easier the City Attorney in drafting an glectric O~dinance. The President appointed the following Committee Messrs. Cope, Neeley,Packard and Robertson. · Omdinanoe No. 576. An Ordiance of the City of Santa Ana,~re$crin~ rules and regulations for the pressure,quality and distribution of gas supplied to consumers and for the enforcement hereof,and prescribing penalities for'the violation thereof,was read and on motion ordered referred to the City Attorney.
