213 In re paving So. Main Street. gd~n~er Bt. ,~crth. Xn re Joint Pole Com~.~iasion. Four th Street. In Re Resolution Clean Up.,sidewalks and streets. On motion of Orubb,eeconded b7 Alderman and carried, it is ordered that a contract be pre- pared to be signed by the property owners for the paving of the 10 foot strip on the Wemt ~ side of 8o~th Main street,north from gdinger Street 1~ feet. The cost of the said paving to be advanced by the property owners and dep~i$~d with the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the work. On motion of Orubb, seconded by Alderman and carried, the City ~ngineer is directed to prepare plans and specifications and the Oity Attorney is directed to prepare the Resolution of Intention for the paving of a ten foot strip on the West side of South Main 5treet,lZ~ feet ~orth from r~inger Street. On motion duly seconded and carried, the'City Clerk is directed to notify the Joint Pole Oommi..ion to notify the Pacific ~lectric ~o., to have the place, on Fourth Street repaired that were ~-~=ged by them at the time of the changing of the poles. That said rep. ire must be completed by May llth 1914.,e~ that the Street ~uperintendent would be directed to make the change, and the c~l~e~would be charged to the Pacific ~lectric ~o. ~hereamsT~e ~oell Society of Santa An. Valle7 have requested the ~oard of Trustees of the Oit7 of Santa An. to est apart a week to cut weeds upon~ lots and remove refuse and put premises in a clean and ~anitar7 condition in the City of Santa An., therefore, R= XT R~BOLVgD,b7 the Re. rd of Trua~eee of the City of Bant. Ama,that the week Beginning May llth and ending Ma7 16th 1914,i. hereby appoint- ed and est a~art aea week in which all oitiaens and ~nere of lots in the City of San~a An. are requested to cut the weeds upon their iota,renew refuse and put their premises in a olean · shiraz7 condition,and at the ease time to re- move all unsightly objects to the end that thee Oity will present a clean and pleaaant sight to anyone who may visit the ~ame.
