Ave. In Re Alloy Frank True In Re Alley On motion of McPhee, seconded by Alderman and carried, it is ordered that the office of Building Inspector be declared vacant. ~ motion of Orubb, seconded by Greenleaf and carried, it is ordered that the ~oax~i proceed to elect a Building Xn- spector. A vote being taken Willit S. Decker received $ votes, ~hos. Ash. received ~ votes, W.B. Decker having received the majority of votes he is declared the duly appointed Building Xnspector. On motion of Alderman duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that it be the sense of this Board that if refuses to discontinue aa a contractor that he will not be allowed to accept the position of Building Xnepector. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, ?A'ustees Grubb, Alderman and Greenleaf are appointed a committee to confer with the newly appointed Oity ~ngineer V.L.Stewar~ and determine and declare the duties of City ~ngineex. The petition of D.N.Xelly,.et al, for the paving of Roes St. between the North line of ~ifth St., and the South line of Washington Avenue with ~ inch cement concrete base and al~ inch asphaltic concrete wearing surface was on motion referred to the Oity ~ngineer for verification.
