Stamp, <br /> <br />In Re Sunday Closing <br /> <br />Pool Rooms and Theaters <br /> <br />In Re Bids for Firs Hydrants <br />Spscials and cast iron pipe <br /> <br />In Rs Paving South Main <br />St. <br /> <br />In Rs Application for Laundry. <br /> 756 Orange Ave. <br /> <br />In Rs gleotrieian's Bond <br />Williamson & Greenleaf <br /> <br /> et al, Was ~resented. <br /> <br />A motion of Trustee MoPhee directing the City Attorne7 <br />to prepare an 0rdinanoe closing pool rooms on Sunday, <br />was lost for the want of a second. <br /> <br />The petition of C.R. Stamp, et al, to close theaters <br />on Sunday was presented, · motion of Trustee McPhee <br />directing the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance <br />closing theaters on Sunday was lost for the want cf a <br /> <br />second. <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman, seconded by Grsenleaf, Trustees <br />Alderman, McPhee and Greenleaf were named a committee <br />to verify the signatures on the petition asking for th~ <br />closing of pool rooms and theaters on Sunday. <br /> <br />The President pro rem of the Board having announced th~ <br />the time for opening bids for specials, fire hydrants, <br />and cast iron pipe, the following bids were openeed: <br />Eennedy Valve Co., Water Works Supply Co., 0fane Co. <br />Herringbone Metal Lath Co., H.R.Boynton Co., J.W.Blair, <br />United States Cast Aron Pipe & Foundry Co. Eeystone Iron <br />· orks. The foregoing bids were on motion referred to <br />· committee consisting of Trusteel Alderman & Greenleaf <br />and Water Supt. Reid. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />In the matter <br /> <br />Street, North <br /> <br />Alderman, seconded by ~reenleaf and carried, <br /> <br />that the property owners ~a7 S/4 of the cost <br />Cit7 of Santa Ama pa7 the other 1/4. <br /> <br />of the ~ving · 10 foot strip on South Main <br />from gdinger St., 1300 ft., on motion of <br /> <br /> it is ordered <br /> and the <br /> <br />The application of A.J.Lawrenoe for · license to con- <br />duct · laundry at 756 Orange Ave., was on motion referred <br />to Trustees MoPhee and Alderman for investigation and <br />report. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The bond of Williamson & Greenleaf to conduct an electri- <br />cal business in the City of Santa Aha, was on motion <br />ordered approved and the license ordered issued. <br /> <br /> <br />
