Stamp, In Re Sunday Closing Pool Rooms and Theaters In Re Bids for Firs Hydrants Spscials and cast iron pipe In Rs Paving South Main St. In Rs Application for Laundry. 756 Orange Ave. In Rs gleotrieian's Bond Williamson & Greenleaf et al, Was ~resented. A motion of Trustee MoPhee directing the City Attorne7 to prepare an 0rdinanoe closing pool rooms on Sunday, was lost for the want of a second. The petition of C.R. Stamp, et al, to close theaters on Sunday was presented, · motion of Trustee McPhee directing the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance closing theaters on Sunday was lost for the want cf a second. On motion of Alderman, seconded by Grsenleaf, Trustees Alderman, McPhee and Greenleaf were named a committee to verify the signatures on the petition asking for th~ closing of pool rooms and theaters on Sunday. The President pro rem of the Board having announced th~ the time for opening bids for specials, fire hydrants, and cast iron pipe, the following bids were openeed: Eennedy Valve Co., Water Works Supply Co., 0fane Co. Herringbone Metal Lath Co., H.R.Boynton Co., J.W.Blair, United States Cast Aron Pipe & Foundry Co. Eeystone Iron · orks. The foregoing bids were on motion referred to · committee consisting of Trusteel Alderman & Greenleaf and Water Supt.
