Garbage 0olleotors through2 their attorney l.F.Menton, stating that they are losing materially the benefit 6f their contract by having some of the garbage stolen. A motion by Trustee McPhee, that the City Marshal be instructed to notify outsiders to desist under penalty of prosecution was duly seconded by Trustee Tubbs and the following vote was recorded: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,MoPhee and Visel. Noes, Trustees Oreenlsaf and Maryatt. # A oommanication from H.D. Van Devest,Asr. for the Fidelity and Deposit Co. of Maryland, certifying it had issued an unlimited oompeneation policy covering the entire liability of Steele Finley and agrees that it will not cancel the policy w~thout notifying the City in writ- ing at least five days previous to such cancellation, ass on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, referred to the President of the Board. # A re2usst of the So.0al. Auto 01ub for a permit to place signs through the City at whatever points needed to direct motorists, was on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, &ranted. # A receipt for $325.00 to cover the deposit premium with a commanication from the State 0om~ensation Insurance Fund, in reference to the compensation insurance for the 0Sty employees was read, and on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, ordered filed. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the City Clerk ia ordered to draw warrants on the Treasurer to cover de~mnds Nc. S97 to 865 inclusive, and the demands of l.N.Oarter for $15.50, 0.B.Jackson, $3~5 and aeo. A.F~r $3.25. The application of H.L. PheXTe for an auto for ~ire license, accompanied by a bond of $10,000 with the Pacific ~oaet 0asualty 0o., as sureties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by M~Phee, a~d carried, granted and bond referred to the President for approval. The application of 1.1. 'Oompton for a reft~d on his au~ for hire license issued to him July 17th, 1915 to Jan.18t refund 191~, amount of^$~.10, was on motion of Trustee areenleaf, duly seconded and carried, granted. #
