President Visel appointed Trustees Tubbs <br /> and Maryatt as the oommit~ee. <br /> <br /> The resignation of lm~ed Rafferty, member of the Pa~k com- <br /> mission was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by <br /> MaxTatt, and carried, accepted. <br /> <br /> The petition of a majority of the property owners on <br /> Spurgeon St., between 2nd and 6th S~s. to have same inolude~ <br /> in the lighting district for ornamental lights agreeing to <br /> fill all demands, the same as the district now under con- <br /> eideration as to laying conduits etc., was on motion of <br /> Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by McPhee and carried, <br /> ordered filed. <br /> <br /> A remonstrance from Mfs. Istella L. Moglree,Preeident S.A. <br /> Parent-Teachers Federation, Supt. Mothers' Dept. 1.0.T.U., <br /> Supt. Young Peoples Branch, W.0.T.U., asking the Board not <br /> to grant a permit to open a Jitney dance hall to certain <br /> parties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br /> McPhee and carried, ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />The monthly reportsof the City Recorder, Marshal, Boildt~ <br />Inspector and Street Sutp. were on motion of Trustee ~xeen~a~ <br />that reading ~f same be waived And ~rdered placed on file, <br />was duly seconded by Trustee Tubbe and carried. <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> <br />
