On motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs, seconded by Trust.es Merrett that same be <br />referred to committee with power to act. The President appoin- <br />ted Trustees Tubbe and MazTatt on the committee. <br /> <br />· r. P.M.Faris, a re~esentative of the "Gold Du~t Teins" <br />lashing Powder, appeared before the Board asking that their <br />8olioi~ora be given permission to solici~ free of lioense, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, seconded by Trustee Maryatt, the <br />same was granted as long as they solicit for 'Gold lkAst Teins' <br />only and work in connection with the local grocers. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The application of G.O.Baker to insure the buildings recently <br />constructed at the Oity Water Works at the Board rate of 98 <br />cents, was on motion of Tubbe, duly seconded by Molrnee, and <br />carried, ordered laid on the table. <br /> <br />· oommanioation fr~m J.B. Nabore & 8one, representatives of <br />the Oo,-,onwealth Bonding & ~VAll~,yOoe~any, making applica- <br />tion and giving rates for insurance on fire~'aoke, was on <br />motion of Trustee Molrnee, and seconded by Trustee Maryatt, <br />referred to the President of the Board to report later. <br /> <br />Mr. Ben gersikoff appeared before the Bo~rd stating he <br />would like to Dut in a.bid for the handling of the Oity <br />garbage. ~pon motion of MoPhee, seconded by Maryatt, the <br /> <br />(31erk was instructed to advertise for bid~ of one year or <br />more. <br /> <br /> <br />
