City Hall, Santa Ana,Cal. <br /> <br /> June 7, 1915, at 7;30 p.m. <br /> <br />Board met in regular session. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees MoPhee, Tubb8, Greenleaf, Maryatt and the Clerk. <br /> <br />Absent, President Visel. <br /> <br />Meeting oalled to order by the 01erk. <br /> <br />On motion duly seconded and carried, Trustee Maryatt was chosen to act as President pro tom, <br />during the absence of President Vieel. <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Custer S~. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application for <br /> <br />Auto Licenses <br /> <br />Electric Sign <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids for Barley Hay <br /> <br />Xn Re <br /> <br />Band Ooncorts <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Oil and Gravel <br /> <br />Halladay St. <br /> <br />Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. <br /> <br />A petition signed by the property owners on ~uster St.,North <br />of Washington Avenue asking that that portion of Ouster St., <br />be improved and asking that a guy wire in front of 1~20 of <br />said street be removed, was on motion duly seconded and <br />carried, referred to Trustees Tubbs and McPhee to report at <br />next regular meeting. <br /> <br />The applications of W.g.Beckwith of E1 Toro, Rose Hosteller <br />of Orange, and Martin Larsan of Santa Aha for licenses to run <br />auto busses, was read and on motion duly seconded and carried, <br />the same was granted. <br /> <br />The petition of #olmos Loan and Realty Co., asking permission <br /> <br />to erect an electric sign at S01 #.Main St., was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, same <br />was granted to oom~ly with the City Ordinance, and to the satis- <br />faction of the Building Inspector and City Electrician. <br /> <br />The bid of Nioholls & Locmis Co., to furnish the 0ity <br /> <br />tons No.1. local barley hay at $15.45 per Ton, or S5 tons <br /> <br />No,1 interior barley hay at $18.45 per Ton f.o.b. City Barns <br />was read. Upon motion of Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, <br />same was referred to a committee to investigate, the President <br />pro tom appointing Trustees Greanleaf and Tubbe as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded and carried, the Board <br />accepted h~I recommendation that the City make a contract with <br />W.Frank Harris of the Santa Aha Band for 12 concerts at $52.50 <br />per concert with one additional free concert. First concert to <br />be given June <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mclrnee, duly seconded and carried, the <br />petition of the property owners on Halladay St., between First <br />and Chestnut Ave., to oil and gravel maid Street was granted <br />on condition that a bond be given to insure the payment for <br /> <br /> <br />
