On motion duly seconded and carried, the Supt. of Streets is instructed to take care of all surplus dirt caused in laying curb and sidewalk. The City Attorney reported that the crossing of the S.P. Railroad on 4th St., near the lumber ySrds had been vSwed by the Supt. of Streets, Oity ~ngineer and himself. That the crossing could be remedied by the widening of culverts without taking any action with the S.P.R.R.Co. # Wm. McDon&ld appeared before the Board askingt~ a license be granted him to run a lunch counter at the Southeast ce~ner of ~rd and Sycamore Sts., On motion of Trustee McPhee duly seconded by Oreenleaf and carried, the same was granted. The petition of F.Ohampion with a $500 bond for electrician's license was read and on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Greenlea~ and carried, same was granted. On motion of Trustee Tubba, duly seconded and carried, Trustee McPhee, was appointed a committee to make necessary repairs for lights at Birch Park. Trustee McPhee reported the purchase of an Oil pump from the Standard Oil 0o., for $$9.00 to be used at the Fire Station. # On motion of Trustee Tubba, duly seconded by Moghee and carrie~ the City Attorney is instructed to draw up an Ordinance govern- ing the restriction for autos for hire or Jitney busses~ to omb#dy in the Ordinance restricted districts on 4th St., between Broadway and Bush and on Main St., between #rd and Streets.
