City Hall, ~anta Ana,Cal. July 12th,1915, at 7;30 p.m. Board met in adjourned session. Present,Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Maryatt, Visel and the Clerk. Meeting called to order by President Vieel. In Rd Bids Fertiliz-~r Report of Librarian In Re Oensor Commission In Re Pipe line across Artesia St. In Re Candy Machine In Re Permit to Canvass A letter frmn County Surveyor J.L.McBride asking the City to re-precinct in order to correspond with that of the County was read, and on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, referred to the City Attorney. T~e application of J.and H.Roas for a Junk dealer's license at 415 WSth St., was read, and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded and carried, samw was granted. The petition of O.L.Halsell for permission to erect a corrugated iron addition at the rear of 211 W.Sth St., wms read and on motion duly seconded and carried referred to a committee, the President appointing Trustees Tubbe, and McPhee.. # The bid of Shelley Herren for $7~.00 for the fertilizer from the City barn and street sweepings was read and on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, rejected, and the City Clerk instructed to re-adver- tise for bids. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Maryatt and carried, the reading of the Public Librarian's report was postponed. President Visel announced the appointment of the following members on the Censor Con~ission: Rev.Paul g.Wright, J.S.Ademe and Mrs.A.J.Orookshank. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded bz Maryatt and carried, J.H.Pankey was granted permission to cross Arteela St. with two temporary irrigating pipe # On motion of Trustee Maryatt, seconded by McPhee and carried, W.D.Moore was granted a license to operate a candy-making machine at 4th and Sycamore Sts., # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried Mrs.M.~.Wells is granted a permit to canvass orders
