Blauer appeared before the Board and asked per- <br />mission to swing banners across the streets with the word <br />"Welcome" during t~he State Sunday School Convention to <br />be held 0etcher 13th to 14th,1915, was on motion of Trustee <br /> <br />MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and oarried;^and 0ity~, <br />01erk instructed to dr~w a warrant o~ the Treasurer ~ <br /> <br /> General Yund for $35.00 for payment of the work. <br /> <br /> Rev. Paul Stevens appeared before the Board asking a per,dr <br /> be granted to sell religious books during the State Sunday <br /> School Convention without license, on motion of Trustee <br /> McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, mame is granted. <br /> <br />Two of the property owners on g.3nd and 3rd Ste. appeared <br />before the Board stating that they were unable to pay for <br />the laying of sidewalks in front of their places, was on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs^that the <br />matter be referred to a conEittee to investigate. The <br />President appointing Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf as such <br />committee. <br /> <br /> Mr.W.L. Grubb appeared bef~e the Board asking that the <br /> Oity take steps to have the Southern Pacific R.R.0o. in- <br /> stall an up to date danger signal at their crossing on <br /> North Main St., on motion of TrusSes McPhee, duly second- <br /> ed and carried, the City Olerk is instructed to notify the <br /> S.P.R.R.Go. to install a wig wag danger signal at said <br /> crossing. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhse, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, Mr.S. Thompson is granted a license to conduct a <br /> skating rink in Neill's Hall. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />A committee from the County Fair Promoters asking the Oity <br />to oil Fairview Ave., from Birch to Bristol and Bristol to <br />the Oity limits was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br />seconded by Tubbs referred to the Street 0ommittee to rep(ri <br /> <br />at next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
