Blauer appeared before the Board and asked per- mission to swing banners across the streets with the word "Welcome" during t~he State Sunday School Convention to be held 0etcher 13th to 14th,1915, was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and oarried;^and 0ity~, 01erk instructed to dr~w a warrant o~ the Treasurer ~ General Yund for $35.00 for payment of the work. Rev. Paul Stevens appeared before the Board asking a per,dr be granted to sell religious books during the State Sunday School Convention without license, on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, mame is granted. Two of the property owners on g.3nd and 3rd Ste. appeared before the Board stating that they were unable to pay for the laying of sidewalks in front of their places, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs^that the matter be referred to a conEittee to investigate. The President appointing Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf as such committee. Mr.W.L. Grubb appeared bef~e the Board asking that the Oity take steps to have the Southern Pacific R.R.0o. in- stall an up to date danger signal at their crossing on North Main St., on motion of TrusSes McPhee, duly second- ed and carried, the City Olerk is instructed to notify the S.P.R.R.Go. to install a wig wag danger signal at said crossing. On motion of Trustee McPhse, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, Mr.S. Thompson is granted a license to conduct a skating rink in Neill's Hall. # A committee from the County Fair Promoters asking the Oity to oil Fairview Ave., from Birch to Bristol and Bristol to the Oity limits was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs referred to the Street 0ommittee to rep(ri at next meeting.
