The President ,ppointing Trustees McPhee <br /> and Tubbe as such committee. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> Two commmnications from th~ Womens Civic Club in reference <br /> to public toilets in the Dibble Block and a sign at First <br /> and Main sra., was read and on motion of Trustee McPhee <br /> duly seconded and carried ordered received and 9$&oed on fil <br /> <br /> A communication from the American Cement Products Co. ,offer- <br /> ing to install free of charge two ornamental lights in front <br /> of the City Hall building was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf <br /> duly seconded by McFnee and carried, accepted and left to <br /> the House Comndttee to select a place for installing. <br /> <br /> The application of M.L. House for an auto for hire license <br /> was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br /> McPhee and carried, action on same be laid over two weeks. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> The bond of N.O.Gardner with Jack Miller and A.B.Oardner as <br /> sureties to do private contract for sewer construction, <br /> cement sidewalks and curbs, was read and on motion duly sec- <br /> onded and carried referred to the President for approval. <br /> <br /> ~n motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded and carried, the <br /> 0ity Electrician is authorized to charge $1.00 for hie fee <br /> upgn passing the installation of electric signs. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> The application of the Oope glectric Co., to place two <br />electric signs , one to be installed on the Roeemore Hotel <br />Bldg., the other at §0§ N.Main, was read and on motion of <br />Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, same <br />is granted under the supervision of the City ~lectric~an and <br />Building Inspector. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Ordinance No.602 relating to Jitneys was amended to define <br /> <br /> "sight seeing care' and take out insurance, by the followin <br />vote to-wit~- <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee and Greenleaf, <br /> <br />Noes, Trustee Visel. <br />Absent,Trustee Ma~yatt. <br /> <br /> <br />
